Specifically, this is about two Innovatek rads.

Which of the two rads produces better temps?

The Radi-D which is an active dual-rad with a pair of Scythe S-FLEX 33.5CFM fans, http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-rad-46.html

what if the Konvekt-O-Matic has that cross-flow fan attached?

Site says that Innovatek's testing shows that the Konvekt-O-Matic is better than the dual-rad, but then I'm not sure if I can trust in-house testings. The rad (whichever one) will be cooling a 7800GT, 3700 San Diego, North Bridge and South Bridge at stock speed, I'm aiming for quietness, not overclocking. It's gotta effectively cool the rig in worst-case Vancouver (Canada) summer temperatures and it's gotta do it quietly.

Size ain't an issue, there's going to be enough room on the back of my case (Going to make a lexan case) for the passive rad to bolt onto, if that's the path you guys reccommend.

I have the Innovatek Ultra external and it works much better than I had anticipated and do not use a fan. This one is nice as well

so if the ULTRA version cools all the high-end schwag in your sig (that's what I'm assuming), then surely a MAXI, which is the mid-size one can cool the mid-range schwag in mine?

I was not suggesting that the Maxi would not cool your system. I was only stating that the Innovatek external Rads work.
