Rackmount Workstation

redundant power supplies on a workstation are a waste. spend the money on a battery backup unit.

what will this be used for? why do they want water cooling? just because its cool? or is there an actual valid reason for it?

usually water cooling is a hobby, and you dont mix hobby with work for reliability reasons. there are instances where water cooling is useful in a work environment, but normally in densly packed servers, not (a single) workstation(s).
 
I'm assuming that you're planning on using workstation grade motherboards and such?

The owner of the company really likes this computer as speced. But he would rather give me the money to build it. What do you guys think.
