Do you guys ever run into the situation where after putting brackets on a server or switch the screws will simply not line up?

What do you do in this situation?

Yes, that is why I now buy square hole racks.

Usually there is powdercoat/paint in the threads. A small wire brush like the ones used to clean gun barrels does the trick for me.

The problem is with the bracket itself it looks like I would need to grind off about a 1/8th of an inch to get the holes to line up.
We have squares just not on the telco rack.
Got to love hooking up ancient Cisco equipment.

The holes are grouped in clusters. 3 per U. Line it up with a group of 3 even spaced holes.
