Hey guys I was wondering if it is possible to play a PC game with a Joystick + racing wheels plugged at same time. (battlefield:vietnam)

It would be cool if I could use the racing wheel to control land vehicule (jeep, tanks etc..)
and the joystick for planes and chopper. There is like conflict with axis and button. How would you do it?

it should work. i dont have the game so im not so sure, but i think you can go into the controls menu and set it to do that. are there seperate control settings for the land and air vehicles? if there is, you can probably set them so the land use the wheel and the air use the joystick. just try it, i cant guarantee anything

I don't see why it wouldn't. I play BF1942 with a joystick, so just go into where you edit the controls for Air and Land/Sea (assuming its the same in Vietnam, which I think it is) and program it. I'm 99% sure it would work.

it doesn't work for me. I have an old Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick and a Logitech Wingman Formula GP wheel (both USB). I have to disconnect the joystick in order to play Midtown Madness 1 & 2 (Heh, old games I know, but still very fun). Though, the joystick works fine in Flight Sim 2002, even when the wheel is connected.

i guess its the same theory as having two mice

i have an optical PS/2 mouse and a USB ball mouse thats NICELY modded and i like both because the optical one gives me precision when i play games and the USB modded one is soo nice looking and goes along with my system.... so i leave both of them plugged in... i just have to remember not to accidentally touch the other mouse when i m sniping in cs because both mouses work at the same time and can really be a bother

It doesn't work for me either.

When I play NFS:U with my joystick plugged in, the car does a left turn slam into the wall. As soon as I unplug the joystick, it goes back to normal.
