r9 290x dual display issue

i just upgrade to msi r90 290x from a sapphire hd5870 and everything is great except the issue im having with the dual monitor setup ... i have my main monitor thru the dvi port and a second monitor out to my tv with the hdmi cable.. now i switch between cable/computer screen quite often at times and on my old card the display would stay on in the backround .. with this new card whenever i change inputs on my tv my main will flash and the dual monitor will go undetected like it was unplugged until i switch inputs back then it will flash and re-detect ... is there an option that im missing in the ccc to keep the display detected full time ??


also i use the tv for info while im gaming mostly and every time it disables all my info goes back to my main screen wich is very annoying

One of the suggestions here should help, I believe the only way to truly fix this issue from my own experience is to disable the hot plug pin on the hdmi cable, which is shown in the link.
