R9 280x Power Requirements

So I saw that some of the R9 280X cards have finally shown up on Newegg listed as coming soon, with all the details of the card on the page. Looking at the Sapphire card, I noticed the power requirements: 750w psu for 1 and 1000w psu for 2 in crossfire. I'm currently running two hd 6870's in crossfire, and was thinking of moving up to two r9 280x's or hd 7970's (over time) if the r9 290 ends up being too much. I currently have an ABS Majesty 1100w 80+ Gold PSU, will this be enough power according to my setup?

You have literally hundreds of watts more power than your system could possibly draw with crossfire 7970s (280Xs). Feel free to utterly ignore their recommendations and instead read the power usage portion of [H]'s recent review of the DC2 Top version to see just how much extra power you have.
