You mean it actually exists? I thought it was just a marketing ploy to stop people from buying nvidia cards until ATI could put something on the market.... ;)

Breaking News: Al Gore has protested R600, claiming it uses too much electricity, genrates too much heat and speeds up global warming. He threatened making a documentary feature about the card. He said "You owe it to your children and grandchildren not to buy this card. Especially people who consider crossfire are traitors."

ATI is reconsidering releasing the card. New estimates show the card won't be released before 2009.

Rumor has it that it will be a dual release with the AMD Barcelona cpu so its hard to tell when that will be. From what I understand it was supposed to be this past Jan. or Feb sometime. If its such a killer card and ready to go I don't see why AMD/ATI would withhold it but then again I'm not on the board! :) Hopefully it will be the big nasty it is proclaimed to be.

I just want to see some current real game benchies with it vs both the 8800 series and last gen's cards...just to tide me over.
