Does anyone know of a projected price point of the next videocards based on the R520 core'd ATi cards? I mean, say, Ultra-High end, or just below that?

No one knows, There are rumors of a $450 MSRP...

(Ill be getting one, first day)

gl hehe, everyone's gonna be grabbing one heheh

Well, I hate you all then ;) I plan on getting one as soon as AMR is shipping and operational and the Dual-Core processors from AMD are out. Maybe DDR2 will also become part of the dual-core processors, but it is rumored that they will slip in to current S939 boards nice and smoothly.

Oh, and, I can settle for up to $600 for my next card :) So I believe I will get one ;)

Should be the same as when the current generation cards came out. Of course if supply can't keep up with demand then prices should shoot through the roof.

I bet it will retail for $499 USD. Just like most other flagship cards when they come out.

PS: HardBot, have fun running a r520 in that rig, lol.

Ya Im planning on AMR to, on the sole fact that the R520 supports Dx10, and also, can render all the effects that both AOE3, and the Unreal 3 engine have (No current card can)...

Hehe, yeah. Hate_Bot, are you getting a new system? That 2ghz proc is a 47x (i can't remember the pre-775LGA pin count) is AGP. The R520 won't be AGP at all.
