so i went ahead and installed my new chip today.
is this normal? why is Multi set to x6, when i set it to x11 in BIOS? other then that... i don't really do any video editing, but i do see a noticeable difference in speed between this, and my previous e6600.
system spec:
evga 680i mobo (i might change it to d975xbx2 which is still in the box)
qx6800
2gb xms2
7900gs (this one needs an upgrade)
ran the 3dmark06. forgot the actual number, but the cpu score was above 4000. does this sound about right? i don't usually run any benchmark applications.
