I have oced my qx6700 to 3.00 and my idle is 50c under loads it reaches 65c. Is that too hot?? I use core temp to monitor temps.

It's not too hot in the sense that it's dangerous, but it's about the maximum that you'd want to run a CPU at, and the idle is particularly high. Is this using the Intel stock cooler? What voltage is it running at?

I have mine OC to 3.25 and it is 47C at idle and 61C at load. I am using a TRUE 120 in a Stacker Evo.
