I am working on a system build with a VIA Eden 100000, or one of those they have, kind of waiting on the ITX version.

Anyway, I was wondering if I stick a Gig of memory in this board, would it function very well as a game server for a LAN party?

Just like 4 people or so (considering I only have a 5 port hub).

Games very from America's Army to Rise of Nations to BF1942.

Yes it should work fine as a dedicated server for this amount of people. If your looking for a 1ghz mini-itx the have been out for quite awhile.

It should be okay for a small number of people like that. Now if you were playing the game on that system...it'd be a different answer.

Naw the game will be played on my main rig.

The new mini-ITXs are out? I didn't think they were. Hmm, must go check.
