quitting doom3 doesnt reset brightness

Hey,

Whenever I play Doom3, and then exit and return to the desktop, my brightness/gamma are set really high. Somehow they aren't set back from in-game settings.

I'm using the latest nvidia drivers with my geforce 6800, and the latest 1.1 patch for doom. Oh, and Windows XP SP2.

Any thoughts?
 
i get this problem in some opengl games (jk2 for example) if the game doesn't exit cleanly. i'd check the log to make sure it isn't dying after you click 'exit' just to make sure that isn't it. other than that, you may want to try older drivers (just to see what works)
