Quietest case?

What are some of the quietest cases out there? I'm looking for $50-$120, in price range.. I'm looking for something that has good sound proofing / padding possibly and big low speed fans that move lots of air. What's in this arena?

the haf series are mostly like that. also i think the rv02 is supposed to be pretty quiet, it would be at the end of the price range you are looking. i have a haf 922 and its pretty quiet and it moves good air. if you need a full size, then a haf 932 black edition would be a nice choice too imo.

Spend 30 dollars more and get the p183.
Or spend time looking for a p180 used.

Dang buggers are expensive. I used to buy pc cases for $30 - $50... What's the big difference between the cheapies and the expensive ones? Just better sound reduction and airflow and build quality?

What you mentioned aren't necessarily things you can put the word "just" in front of. Those are all a big deal when it comes to cases. Also, more expensive cases will generally have more options for usability like different hard drive rack configurations, better cable management, better tool-less features, etc. If you spend the money on a better case, you WILL notice the difference. Also, regarding your price range and wanted features, you probably won't find anything that has sound padding in it as a stock feature. Generally sound padding commands a price premium.

I think the quietest I have seen/heard is the p180/p183. They are nice cases. Right now newegg has the p183 for $90 after rebate.
