There's a PCI-Express 6-pin power cable from what I can see.rickyman said:does it support sli video card? Nvidia Sli Certified? pci-x cable?
I have this one and I don't like it. It seems that it's not powerful enough to power my system. Under high load it sometimes dips to +11,46 volts. That's just above ATX2 specs. I've already ordered an Antec Truepower 2 EPS 550 watt powersupply and I'm going to sell the Enermax. Hopefully the Antec will perform better.rickyman said:Enermax 535W (New) FMA ATX12V Ver2.01 535W
is this power supply good for it.
quiet and power

*Plus, in my move to 939, it's kind of annoying that the S12 430, the only one even REMOTELY in my budget, lacks a freakin' 6-pin connection. Why would they even release a model with 6pin, but is 24pin (implied PCI-E support) is beyond my comprehension.
If that aforementioned PSU, AMS 460W is as quiet two of the posters claim, it would be awesome (cuts $50 from my necessary PSU upgrade cost).
You don't have that demanding of a system... where are you getting these "low" readings?roflcopter said:I have this one and I don't like it. It seems that it's not powerful enough to power my system. GeForce 7800 GTX (G70) Specs Updated:
Single card requires min. 400W PSU with 12V rating of 26A
SLI configuration requires min. 500W PSU with 12V rating of 34A
http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=2206&s=1
Nvidia has lower the requirement for highend SLI to +12V@30A:
http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_howtobuild_2.html
However, since we will be over-clocking, we will continue to recommend +12V@34A.

I stand by my decision to hold at +12V@34A, as there are plenty of good sub-$100 PSU's that can do this &jonnyGURU said:True, the AMS has only 30A on the combined 12V and, although nVidia did lower the SLi requirement to 30A, I do understand wanting more juice for overclocking a CPU.
But...
34 - 30 = 4A
4A X 12V = 48W.
Why do you need an additional 48W just to overclock a CPU?
Assuming you have an FX-53 (you never said what CPU, so I'm just going to throw that one out there) running at 1.5V. A more realistic overclocking voltage may be 1.55V. The additional .05V is going to translate to an additional 1/4 of an Amp on your 12V rail.
Plenty of overhead is NOT a bad idea. But you're asking for inexpensive, quiet.... You can't have it both ways.![]()
I think I was running BF2 and some extra processes in the background. At a certain moment my pc crapped out on me and rebooted. So I checked my Motherboard Monitor log files etc. and it showed a minimal voltage of +11.46. Usually the voltage is around +11,64 when I'm playing BF2. When idle, the voltage is around +11.84. Not very good i guess_Korruption_ said:You don't have that demanding of a system... where are you getting these "low" readings?
