Hey, I am planning on replacing my PSU but i'm not sure which to get, the thing is my current PSU has always been a tad too loud for me but it's an Antec 350watt and I just didn't feel that was enough of a reason to replace, but I just found out that if my ATX cable (the mobo connector thing..) isn't held in a certain position my motherboard goes wacko.. Soo i'm going to replace it with something that will do good while overclocking as I am getting a mobile 2600+ and something quiet to go along with the silence of watercooling.

Any suggestions? I kind of want something cool too, I see some new PSU's detatchable cables so you only connect the ones you need..

edit: computer specs in sig, the first one, going to replace the 1600+ with a mobile 2600+

The Enermax Noisetaker line. SilentPCReview had this PSU running at 21dB at 200W load, plus they're very efficient and feature solid dual 12V rails. I've got one coming in this Saturday.

Some bad things about the Noisetakers are that there are only five molex connectors (plus one for the video card), and that version 1 Noisetakers come with a stiff sleeving on the ATX power connector. Version 2 comes with a regular vinyl sleeving though. Also, the ATX12V connector, AUX connector (no longer on version 2) and video card molex are all sleeved together :(

I just got a Tagan power supply. I'm being totally honest by saying I can't hear the thing at all! They are getting great reviews by everyone and truely are silent. Not too many places carry them in the USA yet but there are a few places. I got mine from Ajump. They have a 380w and 480w.
