Apple has patched a vulnerability in QuickTime today. You can get the patch from Apple's download page or through its software update service.

A hacker could create a malicious RTSP URL embedded in a Web page that would could open a door for other harmful code to run on a machine, Apple said. The patch comes more than three weeks after researchers who are part of the Month of Apple Bugs (MOAB) project published exploit code.

Where is this patch for PC (intel/amd) Windows users? Only thing the link in the article does is take you to a .dmg file for the mac os.

Maybe a link or hosting of the real patch here would be helpful?
 
i ran the update inside my quicktime, and it said i was up to date...didnt download anything so i dunno how your supposed to get it
