Is there any way to install quicktime on windows 8 machine? im unable to watching "itunes trailers" or videos from apple site and quick time isn't supported yet for windows 8 :S

or is there any alternative to play videos on itunes trailer site?

im using chrome only.

Have you run the QT installer? The only way Chrome will get the QT plugin is if you have QT installed.
EDIT--never mind, I missed the part where you said that QT wasn't yet supported on Windows 8. In that case, I don't know...everything Apple is still QT

What about iTunes for Windows 8? If the standalone version of QuickTime isn't yet supported, perhaps installing iTunes will get you closer to where you want to be?

itunes is working and supported but quicktime isn't..it gets installed but the video playback is choppy and it literally freezes the browser.
