QuickGamma Loading Woes

I'm hoping there are some QuickGamma users on this forum that are able to answer this question:

I'm using QuickGamma on Win 7 with HD3000 graphics. I am constantly reloading the QG settings as windows seems to revert to some other (default?) settings. I lose QG setting when the display dims and when the computer sleeps, but I also seem to lose QG settings randomly as well, sometimes as little as a 10 seconds after reloading them! I have "standby support" enabled.

Is there any way to prevent windows from reverting to it's own settings?

Thanks.

I think I've found a solution. I may be talking to the wall here, but I thought I'd share it in case there are other HD3000 users suffering from this problem:

First, make sure Windows 7 is set up to use ICC profiles. Basically, you must ensure that the "Use Windows display calibration" checkbox is checked under the Advanced tab in Color Management. You must be Admin to check this box. You may also need to select the "Use my settings for this device" checkbox on the Devices tab. Of course, set your desired ICC profile as the default.

Second, prevent the Intel graphics process igfxpers.exe (apparently, Intel's persistence module) from running at Startup. To do this, open msconfig, select the Startup tab and uncheck the entry for igfxpers.exe.

Your ICC profile should now be loaded on startup and after awakening from sleep.

you can also use the task scheduler to automatically reload the calibration on startup and other events

Thanks for the tip. I suppose you'd need a little script or utility to reload the profile(s)?
