If I have 2 CD keys but only one XPSP2 install CD, can use that CD for both installs? Or is every CD coded for that key.
(Yes I know that sounds stupid but I just want to check all my bases before I format the comp)
Assuming both CD-Keys are for that version of XP (Home, Pro, OEM, Corp, Upgrade, etc) then yes, it's perfectly legal. The CD-Key is what makes the install legal or not...not the disc that was used. You could download a warez version of XP online, and use a legit CD key with it, and you'd still be 100% legal.
