I have a 9600 Pro on the way ( currently using a 9200SE :( ), I was just wondering about the installation. I have the latest omega drivers installed currently, should I just stick the new card in or uninstall the drivers and then install the card?
 
Technically I can't see a problem with simply swapping the cards out (both ATi cards). But I've always uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers personally, for all the time it takes :).
 
Pop the card in and if something is not right, uninstall and then reinstall.
There is no risk involved.
