Quick Temp Question?

Hi.

Just a quick question for a E6400 CPU (Conroe),

I'd like to push this to the Limit perhaps 3.6Ghz but I'd like to know how crazy it is to keep the temps under load up to 75°C

Currently I have it perfectly stable running at 3.2 bellow 65°C Under load. I have been working like this for about 12 Months now.

Ideally, the lower the temp the better. You should be able to get a Q6600 to 3600MHz and keep it under 60C, so an E6400 probably shouldn't push 50-55C for the same speed. Maybe you need a better heatsink/fan combo?

I'll try to get a newer CPU soon, but it is just an excuse this PC runs really smooth at 3.2...

It was just a curiosity...
