What are the differences between the 2 cards. Can anyone confirm that my motherboard (Gigabyte K8NXP-9) has a PCI-X slot, i have PCI-Express Graphics card and then 2 slots next to it i think are they the PCI-X?

Cheers D:

the 29320 has a legacy 50 pin connector on it, it is also only considered single channel by adaptec. Where teh 39320 is dual channel.

Your board does not have pci-x though, it has pci-e and three pci slots. However, your pci-x card will work in std pci, it will just hang past the end of the slot and it will not be able to run at full speed.
