I just started building my custom system, and need definately some more RAM. I have 256mb pc3200 right now, upgrading to a GIG definately. I dont plan on OCing at all, i just use it for gaming, and internet use, but mainly gaming. I would like to find some popular ram that wont knock a huge dent into my wallet. I still have to buy the PSU and video card, so great ram for a great price, i know thats pushing it, but it's out there somewhere. :)

My system:

Intel P4 3.0 HT
Asus p4p800s-x mobo
256MB pc3200 RAM * upgradable to 2 gig *
40gig HD
485 Enermax Noisetaker v2.0 psu
Nvidia 6800 OC
3 case fans

crucial ballistix is nice quality, but might be a bit more than you want to pay for.
kingston hyper-x is also very nice ram, and is cheaper

and try to get two 512mb sticks. probably best deal and performance right now.

thanks for your help man, i've seen the hyper x ram around, wondering how well it worked. I'll give it a try, see if i can find some reviews on it. That's a good idea on getting the 2 - 512mb sticks, thanks again man.
