Just got most of my WCing gear in, now the tube going from my rad to my pump is going to a pretty sharp bend if i place the pump where i want too. Now the way i see it i can do one of two things

1) http://criticool.com/images small/Fittings-poly 12 elbow.jpg these will work and allow me to place the pump where i want however ive heard these severly restrict waterflow and thats not something i want to do. any truth to these waterflow restriction rumors?

2)Move the pump. which is a worst case scenario

Elbows like those, with the sharp 90 degree corner are awful - flow killers.

Go for option 3) Leave the pump where it is, and use coolsleeves to help your tubing make the bend without kinking.

You could go and get a copper 90° sweep fitting from a local hardware store it has about half the restriction, or 2 45° fittings which would have about 1/3 the restriction of the 90.

you can get some springs and put them inside the tubing, kinda like the coolsleeves but thinner and less obstrusive to the eye

if you've got a mighty pump (hydor L30 and up) and only one or 2 blocks then adding a small restriction like that 90degree bend wont even be noticeable.. but if your pump is already being taxed then you might be pulling the last straw...
theres a few clever ways to test flow-rates.. but thats a different story...
