Quick Question.

Posting this from a friend.

His current psu is a Antec EarthWatts 430W. Would it be fine to power his changing rig?

His specs are:

AMD Phenom x3 720 @ 3.2Mhz
4GB (4x1GB) @ DDR2 667
Gigabyte MA-785G-UD3H
XFX 5770
Seagate 320GB Sata
2 Opticals

Will it be fine or recommended to invest into something bigger? Any feedback on Seasonics S12D 750W? Seems like a good deal for $100.

Thanks

Yeah, that's cutting it close as XFX recommends 450W minimum for the card.

Just get a corsair 750TX, as they're seasonics anyway. Plus they're cheaper :)

Edit: Meh nvmnd, prices aren't as cheap on the TX's as they were last week. :(

The EA430 is fine for that system, and the S12D is an excellent PSU for $100.
