Dont no much about computers and stuff.

Which processor is better?

AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 5600+ dual-core - 2.8GHz

OR

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6550 CPU @ 2.33GHz 1333FSB 4MB L2 Cache 64-bit
 
looking at the tomshardware.com cpu charts it seems the E6550 beats it out by smidge everytime.
 
In case you missed it from Alaskan's post, the OC'ing capability of the C2D is much higher than that of the Athlon64 X2 -- its also easier to OC than the X2!
