Recently I installed a whiteboard type app for MSN, (bored at work), just to goof around with. It came with much trouble...
It installed a bunch of other crap, like favorites, etc. Along with this came an IE web bar which ousted the google bar, the
"forkactivesoftware"
toolbar. It's blue, it's gay and it doesn't do anything like block popups. I can disable it from showing up, but this means disabling all third party apps (tools>options>advanced). I've tried looking in program files for any folder with a name similar, ran a search with some similar names, and also tried the add/remove function, all to no avail.
If anyone has any info about this certain toolbar, or how to remove them in general, please let me know... God, I sound like such a noob, but it's nothing I've ever really dealt with, nor I want to spend any time figuring out, since I'm at work.
