I'm about to order a rig with Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80562Q6600 - Retail along with Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler - Retail and
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail .

Do I need to buy an extra fan for the heatsink if I plan to OC? What size fan?

Will I need any additional fans for the case? I plan to oc to 3.6

A 120 MM fan. The more rpm and CFM air flow the better. But if you want it quiet get a low rpm low DBA.

Heatsink does not include a fan, so you need to buy one.

it should. but a 120mm fan on the heatsink will help. Even a slow rpm one.

That case comes with 4 120mm fans which is just awesome.

2 front intakes
1 rear exhaust
1 @ the top (intake I guess)

Buy yourself a nice looking 120mm fan for the heatsink, You need it.

Most people choose the famous yate loon low RPM fans.

I use to own a thermalright Ultra 120 and was using a beautiful thermaltake 120mm blue LED fan with it. It was connected to a fan controller running only @ 1500 RPM's which was pretty quiet.
