umm... just got my raptor and my 120 gig sata.
i put in the drives, installed windows...all good. until i go to 'my computer'... i see the raptor fine, but the 120 gig doesnt show up.

thing is, i dont remember it asking me to press f6 to install the sata drivers...i had them on a floppy ready its just i didnt see the f6 part.

i look in control panel>system>hardware>device manager and i see the WD1200JD (120 gig sata)...but in 'my computer' i dont see it.

is there a way to get it to show up without installing windows again and looking for the f6?

THANKS IN ADVANCED :D

Well, truthfully I have no experience on this exact issue... But I might suggest you try to uninstall the drive and reinstalling it through the device manager?

But you may want to wait for some more replies.

Hope I helped

Tried to reinstall or upgrade the drivers?

yup tried that too
i think im just gonna have to install windows all over :(
any more ideas can be helpful tho

Well... it may not be formatted properly or something... If you right click on My Computer -> Manage -> Drives (tab) you should be able to see if Windows is able to see your drive at all. And if it can just assign a drive letter and format it. Don't know if it will work though.

Just a thought
