Quick question on loop

Guys, is this watercooling loop idea viable?

I'm mainly concerned on the fact that there is a FrozenQ Liquid V fusion reservoir.

Someone has mentioned in my build log thread, that by having two reservoirs, I might have problems with it flooding?

I just want to be safe before I do anything else.

Thanks

The reservoir's purpose is to remove bubbles from the loop and guarantee the pump is fully fed. In this diagram, you're using the second reservoir as an expensive replacement for tubing. It might look nice but it won't serve any useful purpose.

Not only that, it'll only start flowing once you completely fill the second reservoir. Reservoirs go before the pump, not after.

i think crispy made a point. i would just to a single reservior as well.

Yeah, I hear those bay reservoirs are also a pita to decouple.

If I were you I would mount a thicker 240mm rad in the front of the case with fans in push/pull and mount the hdd in one of the drive bays above the rad. I would drop the optical drive and pick up an external usb drive. Do you really use an optical drive that often?

That would allow you to mount the pump on the floor where it is much easier to decouple. On top of that its buried further in the case where it'll be harder to hear.
