(15) No LINKING to other sites except for image hosting. Do not steal bandwidth from others, host your own images or use an image hosting site such as http://photobucket.com/ or a similar hosting site.

So does that mean I cannot link to my heatware directly? I know I see most people just posting their heat names and we just sort of have to go search the heatware directory manually. Also can we link to say, a Newegg page that has more detailed specs of the item we are selling?

I always thought links were fine, it's HOT linking to photos on other sites that aren't yours. So the image is showing up on [H] automatically, but it's hosted elsewhere.

Not fair to use others bandwitdth. It's also a risk to [H] as the site hosting the picture you link to may change the image to a photo of some guys balls or something rude.

Can't see any issue with providing links to heatware or newegg product pages.

The rule in question is primarily in place to prevent linking to other sale venues. IE, don't link your FS/T thread over on Anandtech
Linking Heatware, or even e-bay feedback, is a-okay. Ditto to linking to Newegg, as long as you're doing it in your own thread; linking to newegg in someone else's thread is probably threadcrapping.
This could probably be reworded to be more clear
