Quick Question: mATX mobo in ATX case?

Most of the ATX cases I've dealt with also had mounts for MATX motherboards, or at least threaded holes where the standoffs could be threaded in. Many have also had them for mounting an AT motherboard. So it will probably be fine.

Yes, you can mount a uATX motherboard in an ATX case. uATX just has a smaller motherboard and therefore fewer mounting holes.

By the way, why isn't there a standard abbreviation for micro ATX? I've seen everything from uATX to mATX to microATX to micro-ATX to u-ATX. Can't we come up with a universal abbreviation?
