so i think im going to buy a evga 6800 128mb today..i purchased my motherboard less then a year ago, it is a gigabyte GA8IPE1000-L socket 4...will this support the card? i have a 350wat ps so i should be okay there but what in the hell is a :

One hard disk drive power dongles off of separate power supply cable bundles (smaller floppy disk drive connector is not sufficient).????

A 350W system power supply is highly recommanded. -check
An AGP 8X/4X compliant motherboard. - i think so

AGP is usually a brown connector near the PCI slots on the motherboard, open the case up and look for them. Or try browsing the BIOS, you'll see AGP settings if you have AGP, or PCI settings if you only have PCI.

If you purchased it less than a year ago, you'll have AGP. I don't see how you couldn't.

I Googled your mobo and the spec sheet says it's AGP 8x. You should be fine.

Edit: doh u posted just before I did heh.

Power dongle, those power cables that plugs into your harddrives. You'll need one of those to plug into your 6800. Highly recommend you use 1 specific cable to use on your vid card. Don't daisy chain other components to share the same cable. Just get one going straight from the PSU right into the vid card. Should have no problems running.
