Quick question for newegg raptor buyers

I just finished installing my raptor in my shuttle and forgot to copy down the serial number for the rebate. I was just wondering if the serial number is on the newegg receipt that came with the hard drive, or is there any other way to get it without taking it apart again. Thanks.

A lot of times diagnostic software will give you the serial.

Your Serial Number will be on the Packing List from Newegg which is in the box with the Hard Drive. (well at least mine was)

True. Goto www.wdc.com and download their diagnostic program, I'm pretty sure it gives it you.

yeah the serial number was on the packing list, and just to make sure, I lifted up my dvd-rom and saw that the numbers were the same. Thanks for the info guys.
