About to order a 32pin SAS to SATA cable.

Question is it has TWO SAS connectors, and I have 4 SATA hard drives. Would it be beneficial to get two of these adapters and connect 2 drives each or wouldnt i notice no performance difference? Should i just put all 4 on the same sas channel?
