This is my first real try at watercooling, and I have purchased all of my parts from folks in the FS/FT forum. I have read several places that you can fit 3/8" ID tubing around 1/2" OD fittings. The radiator I bought has 1/2" OD fitting but everything else is 3/8" OD. To keep it simple I am going to try and get by with 3/8" Tygon tubing based on all the recomendations and other threads. Do I run any kind of risk by doing this? I'll have to use hose clamps on the fittings, but everything else will be with quick connects (mainly because they look so much better.) Is there anything I should look out for or be aware of when I assemble it. The thing that concerns me is stressing the wall of the tubing and maybe cutting into it with the hose clamp.

Any advice would be appricated.

Tygon is pretty elastic, so that will probably be fine. Just don't tighten the clamps so much that they slice into it.
