I bought 2 bottles, just because it was 3 bucks, and it says Caution: Petroleum Distillates, now, is that...bad for my line? or will it just kinda sit and suspend in my resiviour and not go anywhere?

Just drop a few drops in... 1-2 at a time and let it get totally mixxed into the loop.

It really shouldn't be a problem :)

heh, I put some in, and it just kinda forms blops and floats around at the top...do i stir it in then? I shouldve went the easier way and got that pc ice stuff haha

Something is up then. If you have a res, the pump should be pushing more than enough water around to mix in the dye, something sounds wrong with your flow to me.

well, its not the pump, cause i know for a fact it can pump alot of water, and i know the flow is good because it is makin some kind of turbulence at the top of the resivour and trying to pull it down, and it cant be the pump cause i had that running about 20 feet or so of tubing from my shelves to my computer, I think it may be because it isnt technically 'dye lite', but some kind of off brand stuff from napa. I mean, it just kinda....floats and stays together, i dont know how else to explain it, but im guessin you know what i mean. I didnt try stirring it, i didnt know if thatd do anything or not.

yes, i have the dye lite, and it worked great, few drops in, and as soon as I turned on the pump, it was gone, so assuming you parts are working ok, sounds like something is wrong with that dye, becuase i put in 5-6 drops, and it mixed within 1 second.

well, i have a bread container for a resivor thats at least 2 feet of water or so in it, do you think thatd be one of the reasons its all weird? and i wonder if the reason it dont work is cause its for...gastanks, oillines and not the radiator kind? hmm, one can think :p

i have a large ressie too, probably 4 inches by 4 inches, and i have a ton of hose too, probably about 15 feet worth, but i can have my ress open with the pump on, it would shoot 5 feet up, i get a ton of flow, so assuming your getting that much flow too, im guessing its the dye, and it most not be water soluable, it must be for oil, and its not mixing with the water in your system, that would make sense.

yeah, im guessing thats what it is, i wondered about the big ole caution on the side, i had a bad feeling about that when i saw it, well thanks for the help anyway haha
