Im new to case modding and all, but ive installed underglow on my friends cars before. Obviously there is going to be a big ol' difference in the two. In alot of the case pictures i see, you can clearly see the bulb of the cathode. In the car/tuner "scene", this is generally a no no. You really dont want to see the blub itself, because it takes away from the glowing effect on the ground. Is it the same with case modding? Or is it good to see the bulb?

Definately try to get them out of sight, but if you see the edge of one, its no big deal (unless you are an utter professionalist and can't stand the sight of the edge) Mainly when you see the edge of the bulb, you are only seeing the protective tube that goes around the bulb itself anyway, so you won't be seeing as much of the light from the bulb itself
