When a computer is in hibernate, how much power does it use...none? Or just a few watts...

Well, see if this helps answer your question at all:

Hibernate (also called save to disk) which saves everything in memory on disk, turns off the monitor and hard disk, and then turns your computer off. Upon reactivation, the desktop is restored exactly. It takes longer to bring your computer out of hibernation than out of standby.

Standby - while your computer is in Standby mode, it switches to a low power state where devices, such as the computer display and drives, turn off and the entire system uses less power.
