Hello, I am in the process of building my new PC, and have a question about the PSU.
I have a Power Sypply Tester, its a cheap model that I gat from newegg; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16899261013
I used it on my new Abs Tagan 800W PSU, all the lights are green accept for the one of the -5 indicator, and the "Intelligent LED" was also red. I decided to to try another PSU from my current PC and It did the same thing, here is the pic
Just incase the pic is unclear, here is the indicators: +5VSB +5V +12V -5V -12V +3.3
A. On the Power Supply tester is sas "If any 5 LED DO NOT light up, some of the basic functions of the tested psu have faild
B. If the "Inteligent LED" becomes RED. I means the tested psu may damage your device!!!
I mean I tesed it on 2 PSU, can it be that both PSU are corrupted or is the "power supply teser" is wrong?
Thanks
