About to pull the trigger on a laptop. Need your quick opinion on the processor and price.... is an upgrade from 1.6GHz T5470 to 2.0GHz T7250 worth $100? Yes, I will be playing some games (FFXI), using photoshop and compiling some code now and then.

NOTE!!! I forgot to put the $100 price difference in the poll title! :( hopefully you'll have read this before voting!
 
Based on what you've told us (nothing, basically) I'm going to have to vote for YesNoMaybe.
 
Yes, if you aren't hurting for the cash. Get the best you can get now because it's not super easy to upgrade the processor in a laptop, and think of all the time you'd spend buying and installing a faster one in the future. If it's $100 then I'd go for it. That's an extra 400mhz on each core. Though it's also a higher power draw, and your battery won't last as long. Also think about that.
 
If you will use it for folding, spend the extra $100.

Otherwise... no.
