Quick P4 stepping question...

Hui guys, just a quick one:

CPU-Z reports my 2.8 P4 as a stepping 5 revision m0

What is the significance of this?

Any help appreciated..

m0 is the 'Extreme Editon' core, aka Xeon gallatin (sp?). Your 2.8C has the L3 disabled.

so the stepping 5 means its a C yeah?

ie it shud be able to take a 250FSB no probs?

You'd probably have to increase the voltage somewhat to do it. It will more than likely run 250FSB, but there's no guarantee on it. By the way, has anyone tried enabling that L3 cache or is it even possible?
