quick opinion needed 4850 vs 9800gt

So theres a 4850 online for 132.99 with the fat msi cooler, apparently can clock to 700/1200 easily, and then the 9800gt for 94.99 AR on the egg with the same fat cooler and rainbow six game.
Which card is of better value?

Go with the 4850. I've been a Nvidia guy all my life and I just built my first ATI rig (in sig) and it's been nothing short of amazing in performance and ease of setup. I haven't even OCed yet and I doubt that I will because I'm getting 60+ FPS at 1920x1200 on maxed out settings on every game I've tried. I don't think I'll ever go back to Nvidia cards.

I'm Xfire though, but I'm sure if I was running just a single 4850 I'd be more than satisfied.

I do not agree with this statement /at all/. A pair of 4850s, sure. A single at 1920x1200? You'd best be willing to turn /everything/ down a notch or two.
