I plan on picking up a second drive within the next couple weeks for a RAID0 array for better overall performance. However, I'm concerned by lots of issues that I've heard about with using the drivers for RAID when installing Windows Vista that setup won't detect the array, even after installing the NVRAID drivers. This was many moons ago that I've heard this, and I haven't heard anything since indicating that it's still a problem, or that it's fixed.

Any word on this issue would be great, considering I've never set one up before. Thanks. :)

OK its pretty easy -

I just did it yesterday. Loaded vista onto a raid array and when I booted from the disk it didnt find the raid array.
I stuck in the mobo disk with the raid drives and clicked browse and found the drivers. It copied the files into memory then the array came up to load windows on.
Stuck the vista disk back in and then click install on the array and away I went.
Its very easy as long as you have the drivers handy.

Sweet. Thanks for the reply. Although now that I have a 320GB drive, I probably won't be dropping a wad on another hard drive until I get some extra dough.

BTW how is SLI working out on *our* board? Hehe.

I'm thinking of doing two 8800GT or GTS 512MB cards...
