I just finished building my brothers computer and I put in this PSU:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153023

It wont turn on.

I tried connecting the provided generic PSU to just the motherboard and, it worked, so its not the motherboard.

I tried to "hotwire" the PSU without connecting it to the mobo, and that worked....

I just spent 1 hour wiring this thing, so I dont want to put in the generic on and rip out all of the chords, so ANY suggestions appreaciated.....HELP PLEASEEEE

Your link is broken. Also, it would probably help to know what type of motherboard and other components you are using.

You can't just "list" the stuff, eh? Gotta use links?

And as far as I can tell, none of those links are a motherboard.

Apparently, It turns on (but doesnt turn off or boot) when I dont plug in the +4 connector...

That's normal.

When you tried it with the "generic" PSU, did it just power up or did it actually post, etc.?

Complete system specs please.

Of course it doesn't boot without the P4 connector, that is what powers the CPU!

That TT PSU is an old POS with only +12V@18A! :(

I know, I fixed it...instead of plugging in the 4+pin on the same rail as the 20pin, I tried another one, and its all good now, feel free to delete the thread :)
