Do I hook up both the SATA Power and the Legacy Power slots on the HD, or is only one necessary? Thanks.

BTW, I'm dealing with a Raptor 150.

You mean the power connector to the hdd and the sata connector? if so i would reccomend to put both in .

use which ever one you want, but not both..
If your not going to hot swap the drive, the legacy power connectors are usually more secure than the SATA power connectors...

If you plan on hot swapping, then the SATA power connector should be used.

if you use both at the same time, you will have a nice smoke cloud and a dead HD..:)

Ya but i only put in one and it didn't even power it on but i put in the legacy power connetor THEN it turned on. but if it somthing else im not sure.

WD drives come with two power connectors. WD advises against using both.
