I have 2 shuttles (well, the 2nd one is on its way to me)

I have 1 set of speakers, the Klipsch ProMedia 5.1s.

Does anyone know it its line -in connection next to the headphone will allow use by -BOTH- systems? or does the Line -In stop the other input?

I deally, here's what I want to do.

Fenris is my gaming system. I want sound from it at all times.

(unnamed) is my Gaming server / PVR. I want to listen to the TV on it..

and I want to do it with the same set of speakers if at all possible.

anyone know if I can do this? or should I look into buying a set of speakers to go onder the 2001fp just for the PVR?

You could go to RadioShack and get splitters and put them into the receiver's inputs. Either three 1/8 inch phono splitters for the analog input or an RCA splitter for digital coax sound input. I'm not sure about optical input, though - I've never seen a splitter for that.

Output the sound from unnamed to Fenris audio input/AUX and only hook up the speakers to Fenris. Should be fine since TV is stereo so no need to worry about multichannel. Make sure your Line in/AUX channel is unmuted on Fenris.
Some systems have optical hookups if you want to get fancy but may be expensive.
