Hello, please help me with this problem, I need to get this up and running to record the PP to vhs(at the request of a teacher).
Long story, but I'm very limited in knowledge of Power point. I'm a network tech for a high school, I usually dont mess with programs really. A student made this PP, and it played, and still plays on one PC, but not any others.
Here are the facts:
Music files are set to run in the PP every 10 slides or so for a total of 140+ slides
No sound when playing.
I got the first song to play.
Music files in same folder as the powerpoint file.
Music files will play in media player.
Tried to run on multiple machines (Audio drivers are ok on all) I could barely get it running, but these are older systemax, fairly new dell gx60s(or similar) and very old gateways. The ones that it does work on is a nice new Dell, and a mystery PC in the auditorium.
I was told(by HS students) that it has worked for them on thier lab PCs(Dell gx60) no problem, but they were unable to get it running while I was there, it took 4 minutes just to
open the PP.
I want to say that I may have to import the sound files in the PP on the machine youre about to run it on?
I'm lost guys please help me out! I wish I could convince her to just burn it to CD, but thats another issue...
Thanks for any input!
Erin
