hi guys-
i'm just tinkering around with putting some spare hard drives into my computer. installed an 80 gig Samsung today and it works fine. I just tried to install a WD 20 gig and for some reason it did not show up in device manager. Since the hard drive IDE cable had no open connectors, I had to use the second IDE connector on the CD-RW cable, and I had to use another power connection. I heard the drive spinning so I guess it powers on okay. Any suggestions as to why this didn't work. It's not too critical, just wondering about this.

Thanks
Jeff
