The drive and the board were both RMAs, I tested the board out to make sure it came on and posted, the drive is still sealed. cooler has some extra feet incase you break some :) If you would like to know any info on items in this bundle just let me know. Prices I have seen are $76 for a refurb board, $90 for the memory, $35 for the cooler, $55 for the video card before rebate and $30 for the drive which is $286 total plus shipping..... I think $190 shipped is extremely fair for this bundle so let me know.

I got this originally to re-do my server about a year ago and it has since sat under my pool table. I eneded up using a different case for my recent WHS build so might as well let it go. Due to weight and size shipping is a big part of this. I did test this a few months ago but decided the case was too deep for what I needed. I have not tested since.

12 removeable drive bays, no back plane in server though so you can use any hard drives you want, just make sure you have longer cables to reach the systemboard and raid card.

Been a busy day at work, updated thread with sold items and trying to work on the weigth of the server case for estimates on shipping.

The only problem is I was never able to find a SATA backplane for the case :( that would reallk make this one hell of a case. You can install drives in it but what I ended up doing (on another one I had and used for someone else) was get long SATA cables and put a power connector on it before you slide it in then pull it out the back side and connect it.

kind of a pain in the arse but it worked.


I don't have a model number on the case or manufacturer, I got them a while back and repurpoused them or recycled them if you will :D used to be old s478 celerons in them.
 
no worries. all i want to knwo if i can replace that PSU with an atx one. that will make or break it for me.

no it can not be replaced with a reg ATX power supply unless you move the location of where you put the power supply and rig it (which I thought about doing).

as soon as I get the chance to get the model number of the power supply I will.

thats the problem I have had with this for a loooong time, I cant find any model number or even manufacturer on it. I wanted that myself to try and find a SATA Backplane for it.

Honestly I just want to sell it in one swoop and be done, because as it is I hate to sell any of it.


Even now I'm heavily contemplating selling my PS3 80GB, Extra controller, Blu-Ray remote, 8 games and the spiderman 3 Blu-ray that came with it (I still have the box and etc for it all). All it is doing is gathering dust and I only use it for blu-ray anymore (which last time I watched one was about 3-4 months ago).
 
please do buy it it is killing me to not get a CPU and video card for it lol
